Recipe Ideas

1. Apple-Raspberry Pepper Jelly: Mix 1 part Apple-Raspberry Pepper Jelly with 1 part low-fat Italian dressing for a perky salad dressing.

2. Cut the crust off thin-sliced sandwich bread and cut the slices into quarters. Take 3 quarters: On the first spread a generous helping of cream cheese. On the second place a generous layer of your favorite fruit pepper jelly. Place the bottom of the bread with jelly on top of the cream cheese and place the third slice of bread on top of the jelly. Can you picture a cream cheese/pepper jelly sandwich?

3. Strawberry-Rhubarb makes a great partner to peanut butter on a traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

4. Put a block on cream cheese in the middle of a plate and cover it with your favorite pepper jelly. Take a knife and spread the mixture on a cracker (Ritz and Wheat-Thins work great).

5. Use your favorite pepper jelly to glaze chicken or pork.

6. The Onion-Garlic pepper jelly is good on any meat on the grill or on a meat and cheese sandwich.

7. The Mustard pepper jelly can be used on a sandwich (as you would any mustard) or on pork or chicken on the grill.

8. Use pepper jellies to sauté meatballs, sausages, chicken nuggets or egg rolls.

9. Take a 5oz jar of Mrs McArthur’s Apple Raspberry Pepper Jelly. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds. Add 2 tbsp virgin olive oil and 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar. Makes a delicious glaze or baste for lamb and duck. (Be sure to brush it onto meat seveal times during cooking) – Christine B. (Houston TX)
